In 2004, at the of age 17, Eric started working as a freelance communication and packaging designer for various publishing companies in Hong Kong. In 2005, Eric joined Parsons School of Design and in the following year he won his first international honor – Graphis New Talent 2006. Eric was in fact one of the youngest Graphis winner in the history since 1944 when Graphis was first founded. In 2007, Eric decided to join Visionaire, Llc where he had the benefit of working with the world-famous creative director Stephen Gan of the Harper’s Bazaar on projects with Louis Vuitton, Mini Cooper. Later in the year, Eric worked in JWT Hong Kong and was involved in various campaigns include Nike, HSBC and Sony. In 2008 summer, Eric interned as an art director in Saatchi & Saatchi New York and participated on ads of Oral'B, Wendy's, Wal'Mart, Macy's, P&G, Prilosec, Pampers. In 2009, Eric was nominated at Art Director's Club as one of the top 200 graduating seniors in advertising and graphic design, presenting Parsons School of Design on National Portfolio Review. In 2010, Eric was invited to join Saatchi & Saatchi in NY headquarter. Eric enjoyed the success on the visual identity rebranding project with Smirnoff. Three months later, he celebrated with his teammates for winning the opportunity to provide global art direction to LG.
